The tarp-poncho allows you to save even more weight and volume of ultralight hiking gear in your backpack, providing the maximum possible protection from rain and wind both during overnight stays and on trails during long hikes.

This ultralight and versatile poncho-tarp, combining the functionality of two pieces of gear, will be very useful for true thru-hikers.

Based on the SIMPLEX MINI TARP without changing the dimensions and maintaining compatibility with the inner mesh SIMPLEX MESH 1P, it represents a fully functional two-layer sleeping system for one person.

The adjustable hood and cap allow you to customize it specifically for you, and the size of the poncho-tarp does not restrict movement while walking, even with a backpack.

Additional loops on the sides attach an elastic belt with a fastex, preventing the poncho from opening in strong winds, while the back part of the poncho is longer than the front enhances your protection.

Seams of the poncho-tarp are non-sealed. For seams sealing we recommend sealant based on silicone. Mostly prefer McNett Seam Grip+SIL (earlier known as McNett Silnet Seam Sealer).

Poncho-tarp is made from 1.1 oz Levitex Silpoly 20D Ripstop 2000 mm.
